Dear everyone,
First allow me to introduce myself; my name is Daniel Brongers, I am 34 years of age and live in Holland. For numerous of years I have been involved with a fan series based on Star Trek called Dark Armada (first ever episode is on youtube along with several vignettes). As I haven't been invited to do more for that show, and there are still some plotholes regarding the first episode, I am thinking to create a series of my own and I would like to share my ideas (and would also like to ask you about something in the process).
The show is set in the year 2382 and will be connected to other shows including Hidden Frontier, Intrepid, Odyssey, The Helena Chronicles, Federation One and of course Dark Armada. It does not take place in the Mirror Universe nor in the alternate reality (as accomplished by J.J. Abrams), but simply in the mainstream timeline.
I am thinking about using an Intrepid class ship (named the USS Valkyrie) as the main setting for the series. Now I was watching your series - the original Dark Frontier - the other day (which is absolute suburb, btw), and I was thinking of using the ISS Arkangel for inspiration for my series as that type of ship was never shown in any other fan series (so far), which makes it kinda special.
Now, my question was; would one of your animators be kind enough to make a CG image of that ship? It should be like Voyager, but with an extra warp nacelle and main canon onto its nose.
In any case; I am thinking of calling my series, Star Trek: Valkyrie. What do you think?
Either way, many thanks in advance
Regards, Daniel Brongers
